Let the Countdown Begin: *This One's for Radio Rahiem*

Greetings folks!

With less than two months away until graduation, life finally seems to be slowing down. Of course when I needed this type of consideration earlier in the semester it was no where to be found...go figure!

Anyway, homecoming is quickly approaching and I'm getting excited! I've always enjoyed going to the parade and the game will be...interesting (wearing my heart on my sleeve when it comes to those Seminole's these days). This year we're also having the first ever homecoming fashion show and you all know how much I love clothes and shoes! I think it's next Monday, so that'll be something different to experience. Also, WARCHANT, the annual concert is this coming Sunday. This year, Gym Class Heroes (one of my faves) and Pitbull (i guess?) are coming. Last year it was really cold and Lupe took absolutely forever to come on stage, but it was well worth it. I even caught his towel (pretty exciting, but kinda gross after I thought about it...lol). While I may repeat my front row seat from last year, I don't  think my arms with be up trying to catch anything (guess the spirit of Mardi Gras came over me last year and old habits die hard), especially if this cool weather continues. In either case, I'm definitely looking forward to Homecoming (both ours next weekend and FAMU's this weekend) in a major way!

Yesterday, the career center put on a graduate school exposition. It was really nice, but pretty much only if you were interested in Law, which I'm guessing is the new trend. There were a few schools that I was interested in, but I'm already applying to them sooooo...yea. Speaking of applying...don't ask! I'm two applications down and the rest are slowly coming along. The next one is due on November 15th so I'll probably be working on that this weekend. My teacher's and friends have been really helpful, so I'm sure I'll be fine.

The only other exciting that happened this week was that I went to the SLC on Monday (the first time in a very long time) to see Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing" (note my status). I had never seen it before (and I know everyone who has is shaking their head right now), but it was really good! I love old movies, especially about historical eras that we don't get much insight into at school. Hopefully that won't be my last trip to the SLC this semester, cause I've missed being there. It was like visiting an old friend. "Public Enemies" (yes, Johnny Depp) is playing tomorrow...save me a seat!

Until later =)
