*The Final Countdown*

This is it everyone! Next week will officially be the last week of classes of the semester. I've got one presentation and a few test to go, and then I'll be home free. CAN'T WAIT!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend and that you all got everything you wanted in your baskets, because I sure did! I had an amazing time at home (as usual) and I'm definitely looking forward to spending the summer there. The service project with Caring for Katrina was a huge success (look for us on the front page of the FSVIEW) and everyone really seemed to enjoy the trip to New Orleans. We worked with a local chapter of Habitat for Humanity and helped to build a house in an area still very much in need of assistence. It was probably the most fulfilling thing I've ever experienced, and I can't wait until it's finished so I can go back and see it! I know that CFK will do great things as it continues to grow...can't wait to see what's in store for next year!

With crunch time on the horizon, I've been starting to feel the pressure and stress of the end of the year. It also seems like everyone (including me)  is getting sick, so remember to eat your chicken noodle soup and take your vitamins. Also, remember to be kind to your roommates because you never know when you'll need them. Thankfully, my roommates happen to be some of my closest friends and were able to help get me well while I was sick this week. So between them and Thagard (the student health center here on campus, for those of you who don't know), I'm almost back to the perfect picture of health! Hopefully I stay that way...at least until I can get back home to momma. LOL!

Other than that, life is grand. It FINALLY stopped raining and we got a few really good days of really nice weather here in Tally-Ho. Guess mother nature just wanted to give us a little hint that summer is well on its way!

Until later =)
