hEY tHERE, Mr. Fall ;-)

 Hello beautiful people!

Welcome back to a new school year and back to my wonderful world of blogging. I don't think that I have EVER been more excited to go to school in my LIFE. This is my last semester (maybe) here at FSU. I said maybe because even though I'm graduating (if you're an avid reader of my blogs) ya'll know that my grad school search has been crazy. Honestly, I don't even want to get on that topic right now. Ugh...

Anyway, my summer was pretty cool. I didn't really travel much (unless you count a few private trips to the outlet malls right outside of town). Other than that...nothing exciting. On top of a small amount of boredom, I also took my very first (and LAST) online class. It's not that it was that difficult, but it was extremely unmotivating (is that a word?) and dull...or maybe I'm just too lazy for an online course. I ended up getting an A, but it was definitely a struggle. The rest of the summer was spent slaving away in the world of retail, late summer nights at the movies, doing foolish things on the downtown streets of New Orleans, and best of all, oodles and oodles of cheesecake (my absolute fave...tried four different kinds. yes, I'm that lame. LOL!) But overall, it was pretty chill...the pix prove it (check'em out)!

Now that I'm back in Tally, life as usual has resumed. I'm still in all of my same clubs, now with a few executive board positions and leadership roles. Yea, I know, I'm kind of a big deal (LOL jk). But so far it seems like this semester is going to be pretty amazing! The 1st event that I planned for The Movement is this Friday. It's a candlelight vigil in honor of the 4th anniversary of the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. It's going to be such a great event. I can't wait (pix in the nxt blog). On top of that fabulousness, Chelsea (my blogging counterpart) and I have a D.I.S. together. We'll be working with Professor Plant in her Research on Bias lab, which should also be lots of fun! I'm loving my new apartment and can't wait to have a small gathering/pool party to send-off the summer and officially kickoff the great things coming up fabulous fall semester. =)
