"Thinking of a Master Plan!"
NEWSFLASH!! I'm graduating in exactly 4 months and 9 days! O-M-G!
I woke up this morning and realized that I have SOOOO much to do. My personal statement is not very personal nor much of a statement either...it's more like a few sentences. Who knew it would be so hard to write about yourself...geez! But I'll have it done (and reviewed by the career center# by the end of the weekend (scouts honor =])! And I think I finally have my applications down to five: LSU (master's), Loyola @ New Orleans (master's), Univ of Cali @ Santa Barbara (PhD), and FSU (master's and PhD). As you can see, NO I'm still not sure about going directly into the PhD program or not. Another four years is a long time to spend somewhere...especially if you don't know how sure you are about living there. *sigh*...It's all very stressful.
Blah, blah, blah! But anyway...
In entertainment news, FSU football starts this weekend!! We're playing Miami and you know I will definitely be there. I'm pretty excited. Plus, it's my very last football season! =)
Also, for those of you who don't know, I am a committed and consistent Shawn Corey carter fan (Jay-Z, for the non-stalkers like myself. LOL). His latest album comes out in 8 days, and I can't can't wait. I've heard mixed reviews, nut I refuse to download it early. He (along with Beyonce', John Legend, and Michael Jackson) is always on my purchase only list. And to make life even more great I found out that he's doing a concert at Madison Square Garden the night of the release. I REALLY want to go...but my bestie Miaya scolded me for even thinking of being so irresponsible and hoping on a plane in less than a week out of the blue. But, she didn't say anything about the show that he's having in El Paso next month...hmmm. Plus, Chelsea is going to the Jimmy Buffett concert...so uh...yea. I'll work on that and keep you all updated.
School seems to be going pretty well so far. i love all of my classes and I got assigned to a new group for Dr. Plant's lab. We have a four day weekend that starts tomorrow and the weather is absolutely beautiful! I love it =)
