Welcome back!

Welcome back! I accidently stayed in Orlando longer than I intended to, or my mom wanted me to I believe. Some updates!
-       That test. I was FREAKING out, but I ended up getting a 90 on it and a B in that class! Yay!
-       My bday- it was a BLAST. My sister in law, Brandy took me shopping during the day and we saw a movie (Harry Potter..hah we are nerds). Then my other sister in law, Cari, and my cousins went out downtown Orlando. We went from place to place just mingling. I’ve learned to dance, if you know me...it’s a miracle, and to flip a coaster and catch it after one flip. Hahhaha I could never do it. Now I can. Its awesome being 21.
Now it’s back to good ole school. I’m doing a DIS (Directed Individual Study) this semester. It’s where you work in a professor’s lab and help the grad students with their research. I don’t know what I’m doing yet. It’s good to find out if you like research and for the experience. I’m pretty excited!
As far as classes go, I’m in Cognitive Psych with lab (I missed the bus today, so I missed class. I figured I rather not go then be late. Right?), Literature of the American South (which I’m EXCITED because I’m reading the book that True Blood was based on, yay!), and Religion and Anthropology. I only took that because my friend was in it. I actually said that when we had to introduce ourselves. I was the only person who didn’t take it because it looked interesting…haha lame. It does seem very interesting, so we’ll see!
            Other news:
-Campus is PACKED. I never realized how crowded it feels until now. I guess I never paid attention. I swear I feel like there are tons of people.
- We got a new roommate! We all were scared because we didn’t want some girl that didn’t like us or something. She’s actually cool and I think it’ll work well. Lucky us!
- I got a ticket to go to the Miami game. Wow, it’s even weird for me. I rarely go to football games. I know, it’s a sin. I have no desire to stand for 4 hours with a bunch of people I don’t know. AND being packed like sardines. I guess I got over my claustrophobia. Kind of.
Well, it’s time for bed. Its 10, I know, but I’m so ridiculously tried. I like to read before I sleep anyway. Until next time!
