Students admitted to the CARE Summer Bridge Program are required to live on campus for the summer term. CARE will cover the cost of summer housing, but if a student pays the summer contract fee, Housing will NOT refund the money. The summer housing contract is due by April 14, 2022. To complete a housing contract, go to the myHousing portal at housing.fsu.edu/myhousing.
NOTE: If you also want to live on campus for the Fall/Spring terms, you must complete two separate housing contracts: one for the Summer term, and one for the Fall/Spring terms.
Research indicates that students living on campus do better academically and are more likely to be involved in campus life. We strongly encourage you to submit a university housing contract as early as possible. The first day you can complete a Fall/Spring housing contract is February 23. To complete a housing contract, go to the myHousing portal at housing.fsu.edu/myhousing.
All students who submit a housing contract for Fall/Spring housing between February 23 and February 24 will receive a randomly generated contract number based on the total contracts received on those two days. Starting February 25, students are assigned a sequential contract number as contracts are submitted. Your contract number determines the order in which you will be assigned your room. The earlier you submit your contract, the more room choices there will be when you are assigned.
February 23: The Fall 2022/Spring 2023 housing contract opens.
February 25: Living Learning Community (LLC) application opens.
Visit housing.fsu.edu/living-learning-communities for more information.
March 2: The Summer housing contract opens.
Students admitted for Summer will be assigned their Summer residence hall by the housing staff in early-June.
In early July, you will receive your assignment for the Fall term.
Once you have your assignment, you will have access to the names of your roommate(s) and suite-mates.
