We recognize that attending college in another country can be both thrilling and intimidating, so we want to do everything we can to answer your questions, guide you through the application process, and introduce you to International Student Life at Florida State University.
More than 2,600 international students from 125 different countries are enrolled at FSU. While our students represent a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences, they are all participants in the university's community of scholars. As a student at FSU, you'll have the chance to learn from distinguished faculty in more than 170 different academic programs. Most importantly, you'll be a 'Nole.
Apply online using our institutional application or the Common App. Students should only submit one application.
Complete the following items on the Application Status Check by the application deadline:
Applicants whose educational history has not followed a curriculum patterned after the U.S. educational system are encouraged to submit their academic records to a foreign-credential-evaluation agency for a secondary-school evaluation to include a grade-point-average calculation.
Applicants whose native language is not English should self-report English proficiency exam results.
The Application Status Check allows you to regularly monitor the status of your application and required materials. Most of our communications, including our admission decisions, will be available on the Application Status Check. You're responsible for regularly checking your email account and the Application Status Check. Please ensure that we always have your most up-to-date email address, and include admissions@fsu.edu in your address book.
