FSU Information Technology Services will send you an email containing your unique FSUID and email address. Go to my.fsu.edu, click Manage FSUID/Password and follow the steps to complete the FSUID activation process.

Next, submit your $200 non-refundable admission deposit by May 1, 2023 to secure your place in the FSU Class of 2027. Pay your deposit by logging in to your Application Status Check at admissions.fsu.edu/statuscheck.

After activating your FSUID and paying your $200 non-refundable admissions deposit, you must register for orientation, which is a mandatory, multistep process. Orientation registration is now open, and you are encouraged to register as early as possible for a session. Students must register and pay for orientation no later than May 5, 2023. Research indicates that students living on campus do better academically and are more likely to be involved in campus life. We strongly encourage you to submit a university housing contract as early as possible. To complete a housing contract, go to the myHousing portal on the University Housing website. The first day you can complete a Fall/Spring housing contract is February 23.

All students who submit a housing contract for Fall/Spring housing between February 23 and February 26 will receive a randomly generated contract number based on the total contracts received on those three days. Starting February 27, students are assigned a sequential contract number as contracts are submitted. Your contract number determines the order in which you will be assigned your room. The earlier you submit your contract, the more room choices there will be when you are assigned.

Applying for Financial Aid as a summer admit requires you to submit a FAFSA for both the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Academic Year. You can complete both applications at FAFSA® Application | Federal Student Aid.

Important Notes:

• Ensure that FSU (School Code 00148900) is listed on both FAFSA applications.
• Ensure that you have provided your accurate Social Security Number to the Office of Admissions.
• The FAFSA application must be completed each year beginning on October 1st.

Before you can register for classes at orientation, you must complete our immunization form showing proof of two combined MMR vaccines and either showing proof of or completing a waiver for Hepatitis B and Meningococcal Meningitis vaccines. All eligible students will choose to either "OPT Out" of the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) with a comparable health insurance policy or purchase the SHIP.

Engage 100 is an immersive program unique to FSU and designed just for first-year students. Through Engage 100, you have the power to meet great people, explore your passions, and see all that university life offers. Every first-year student will enroll in an Engage 100 course this fall semester.

Before attending Orientation, take time to visit the Engage 100 website to review the 25+ course experiences you get to choose from! Identify your top choices to discuss with an academic advisor during Orientation.

CARE students all attend the same Orientation session. Orientation is mandatory and usually takes place one week before classes begin. Once CARE students complete the CARE Participation Agreement, they must register for the CARE Orientation. Orientation registration is now open, and CARE students will only be able to register for the CARE Orientation. The Orientation fee is built into CARE attendance costs. Although a bill will appear on your account statement, Orientation will be automatically paid by CARE closer to move-in day. Students must register for orientation no later than May 5, 2023.

• You must earn an Associate of Arts degree from a Florida public college in addition to your high school diploma before starting classes at Florida State University. If any of your senior-year grades are below a C, or your cumulative college GPA is not at least a 2.0, we may rescind your admission.
• Your application was reviewed for your intended major. You are required to complete the academic mapping milestones as specified in the Academic Program Guide.
