The Office of Admissions must receive all of the information used to make an admission decision by the published deadlines.
Students who complete an application and submit all supporting documents by November 1, 2019 will receive an admission decision online on January 30, 2020. Students who complete an application after November 1, 2019 will receive an admission decision on a rolling basis starting January 31, 2020. The final application deadline is March 1, 2020. November 1, 2019 is the priority deadline for admission and merit scholarship consideration.
The University reserves the right to close first year admission earlier if warranted by enrollment limitations and the number and quality of applications. Generally, the University does not accept first year applications for the spring term.
Florida State University's freshman application fee is $30. Both The Common Application and The Coalition application carry an additional $5 processing fee. Students qualifying for a CollegeBoard, ACT, or NACAC college application fee waiver will have their application fee and any processing fee waived.
