If you are ready to accept your place in the CARE Summer Bridge Program, submit your CARE Participation Agreement as soon as possible, but no later than May 1, 2024. Submit this form by logging in to your Application Status Check.
CARE Summer Bridge students all attend the same Orientation session. Orientation is mandatory and usually takes place one week before classes begin. Once CARE students complete the CARE Participation Agreement, they must register for Orientation. Orientation registration will open on January 10, 2024. CARE Summer Bridge students will only be able to register for the CARE Orientation. The Orientation fee is added to your bill but will be paid with your financial aid award; however, the guest fee for family member(s) will still be due. Applying for Financial Aid as a summer admit requires you to submit a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for both the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 academic year. You can complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA at studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa. CARE requires all FAFSAs to be complete by March 15, 2024. Failure to complete your FAFSAs will result in your admission being rescinded.
Note: The Office of Financial Aid may request additional documentation from you to verify your eligibility for funding. If additional documents are needed, you will receive an email or an additional item being added to your "To-Do List" at my.fsu.edu. Documents must be submitted by the requested deadline in order to maintain your admissions status.

Engage 100 is an immersive program unique to FSU and designed just for first-year students. Through Engage 100, you have the power to meet great people, explore your passions, and see all that university life offers. FS4U is Florida State's internal scholarship database which will allow you to search for scholarships or be automatically considered by departments for available funding. TSC and FSU are unable to offer you on-campus housing in fall. Spring on-campus housing is very limited and not guaranteed. Housing for fall fills up very quickly, so do not delay your search. Off-campus housing listings can be found at offcampushousing.fsu.edu.
Orientation registration will open in mid-fall, and you are encouraged to register early for a session which is a mandatory, multi-step process. All students who wish to claim Florida residency for tuition purposes must complete the residency declaration form before attending orientation. If you have not completed your form already, visit the Application Status Check to complete this task.
Update your Self-Reported Student Academic Record (SSAR) with your final, senior-year grades by logging in to the SSAR website at ssar.selfreportedtranscript.com/login.aspx. Submit the updates by clicking the Complete button at the bottom of the Review/Submit section. If you do not re-lock your SSAR, FSU will not receive your updated information.
The Office of Admissions requires an official, final high school transcript sent directly from your school to the University. If you have dual enrollment credit, you must also send an official college transcript(s). All official test scores (ACT, CLT and/or SAT) must be sent by the respective testing agency to FSU. The final high school transcript, dual enrollment transcript(s), and all official test scores must be received by July 10, 2024.
At the end of the Fall 2024 term, you must send an official, final college transcript to FSU Admissions to show you have met all admission conditions.
We will re-evaluate your application after we receive all of your official records. Discrepancies between official and self-reported grades and test scores can result in admission recension. If any of your senior-year grades are below a C or your dual enrollment GPA falls below a 2.00, we may rescind your admission.
