Program Benefits
The High School Partners Program recognizes the complexities often associated with the admission application process and aims to provide comprehensive support to students by offering:
- Personalized assistance: Students receive personalized guidance and support throughout the FSU admissions application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process. This ensures that they have the necessary resources and information to complete these important applications accurately and efficiently.
- Priority admission consideration: Students participating in the High School Partners Program receive priority consideration for admission to Florida State University.
- Automatic consideration for scholarships: Students in the program are automatically considered for both admissions merit-based scholarships and the Partner Promise scholarship award. The Partner Promise scholarship is an incentive-based scholarship specifically designed for admitted seniors from partner schools who are not eligible for the CARE Summer Bridge Program. This award provides financial support amounting to $3,000 per year, distributed over four years, totaling $12,000.
- Specialized group tours: Students in the High School Partners Program have access to specialized group tour opportunities at Florida State University. These tours offer a tailored experience, focusing on the campus, facilities, and academic offerings.
- Continued support and engagement: Even after enrollment, the program maintains communication, support, and engagement with students. This ensures that they receive ongoing assistance and resources throughout their academic journey at FSU.
It is important to note that while the High School Partners Program provides extensive support, it does not guarantee admission to Florida State University. However, it aims to enhance students' chances of success by equipping them with valuable resources and opportunities during the application process.
