Becoming a Partner School
To be eligible for consideration for the High School Partners Program, high schools must meet the following criteria:
- Be a public high school located in Florida, with preference given to Title I schools. This ensures that schools serving economically disadvantaged students are prioritized in the program.
- Designate a primary point of contact who will serve as the liaison between the high school and FSU Admissions and Financial Aid staff. This contact person will coordinate and facilitate college recruitment activities, fostering effective communication and collaboration between the two entities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to hosting parent and student workshops throughout the Fall and Spring semesters, both during and after school hours. These workshops will provide valuable information and guidance to parents and students about the college application process, financial aid opportunities, and other relevant topics related to higher education.
- By fulfilling these eligibility criteria, high schools can actively participate in the High School Partners Program, benefiting from the program's resources and support in promoting college access and success among their student population.
