Out-of-State Tuition Fee Waiver
In accordance with Florida Statute 1009.26(12)(a) and Florida Board of Governors Rule 7.008(3)(m), undergraduate students who are lawfully present in the United States may be eligible for an out-of-state tuition fee waiver if they meet the following criteria:
- Attended a secondary school in Florida for three consecutive years immediately prior to graduating from a Florida high school.
- Applied for enrollment in a Florida institution of higher education within 24 months after high school graduation.
Students who qualify for this waiver will be charged no more than the in-state tuition and fees, and the waiver applies for up to 110% of the required credit hours for the degree or certificate program in which the student is enrolled. Please note that students granted this waiver are considered nonresidents for tuition purposes and are not eligible for state financial aid under Part III of Chapter 1009.
